The house represents an authentic and extremely rare fragment of the Middle Ages (1300), preserved unchanged thanks to a skilled restoration, which wonderfully fits into a rural village surrounded by an environmentally protected reserve: with watercourses, poplar groves populated by deer, hares, pheasants, and herons, fields and vineyards as far as the eye can see.
It has the typical structure of an ancient farmhouse enclosed by a high dry stone wall, with a secondary gate for access to the fields, and is equipped with a long porch with three arches and a large garden with a barbecue.
At the back, it is bordered by a river where authorized trout fishing is possible.
Inside, there are precious furnishings strictly from the era.
THE ROOMS
A splendid suite on the raised floor, obtained from the old barn, with a living room on the lower part and a double bed on a loft, communicates, through a door and a corridor, with a single room and a study area.
Two bathrooms with bathtub and shower complete the entire area available to guests, made independent from the rest of the house by a reserved door that safeguards their privacy.
This B&B has a feature that makes it safe in cases of a pandemic, such as the one that hit the entire world in 2020: it can accommodate in the entire structure only a couple or a family of up to 4 people at a time, without contact with unrelated third parties.
The owner has a passion for nature and devotes himself to his role as a host, carefully tending to every detail to satisfy the desires of his visitors who are eager to live in harmony with the enchanting surrounding environment and relax in the tranquility and charm of an ancient farmhouse dating back to the 1300s. This farmhouse has been restored with absolute respect for its original structure, without neglecting any modern comforts.
The structure is located in a marvelous rural area, characterized by absolute tranquility that promotes the complete relaxation of guests. Despite this, it is situated a short distance from the main tourist attractions of the region, such as the fascinating art cities and archaeological sites of Aquileia, Cividale, Plamanova, and Villa Manin, the charming seaside resorts of Grado, the picturesque wine hills of Collio, and the majestic mountains of Carnia. Here, visitors can enjoy long walks immersed in nature and admire the numerous animal species that inhabit and are protected in this territory.
